Mexico City based dj Tommy Tequila excited us several times with his talent of carefully selecting the deepest and mysterious dubstep tracks, and weaves them together in a way that everytime you listen to his mixes it feels like you’re hearing the tracks for the first time.

Someone asked me: â€I like his sound, but is it tropical enough for Bomb Diggy? It is more ambient right?†And after a brief moment of silence I could only reply with: “imagine wandering in a rainforest in the middle of the night, realizing the creatures of the jungle around you can strike any second if you do not keep running as fast as you can towards sunrise.†And we both agreed.
This set is the first of the big night at Amsterdam Dance Event last October, and Tommy had the difficult job of opening the night. But he succeeded in sucking the first visitors onto his dancefloor wildlife tribal-bass arena.
